A unique, intensive and unforgettable experience, a human adventure in all senses to vibrate and integrate to the Lacandone jungle in the most authentic way, with its inhabitants tzeltales and lacandones, guards of ancestral cultures and natural beauties in this exceptional space. Five days in the heart of the jungle, in touch with members of communities that know precisely this green labyrinth , the ways to wonderful sceneries. Archeological sites unknown today, discovering a fascinating fauna, five days out of reality to learn to know, feel and wonder again.

Day 1: VILLAHERMOS - POZA DE POP CHAAN

Leaving Villahermosa, Tabasco

Moving to the Golondrinas Cascades, visit the site and walk with the tzeltal guide to the Well of Poop Chaan. ( 1 hr.)

Lodging in the camp and free afternoon to enjoy the crystalline waters. Dinner in the camp. Sleeping in a tent. Optional in rustic cabins..

Day 2: POZA DE POOP CHAAN - PLAN DE AYUTLA

Breakfast in the camp.

Moving to the archeological zone of Plan de Ayutla visiting it and then a light meal.

Moving to the limit of Reserva Montes Azules, walking ( 1. 30 hr.) to the camp of the biological station of Rio Cedro. Dinner in camp with the lacandon guides. Sleeping in a tent.

Day 3: PLAN DE AYUTLA - LACANJA

At day walking to the lagoons and watch the local fauna, crocodiles, birds, etc. and look for tracks of big mammals, return to camp for breakfast.

Walking in the jungle among rivers and cascades to discover the secrets of the jungle. (5 hs.), light meal.

Arriving in the village of Lacanja Chansayab, lodging in a lacandon family camp.

Dinner in the camp. Sleeping in cabins.

Day 4: LACANJA

Breakfast in camp walking to the rapids and small arqueological zone of Lacanja. In the afternoon visit the site of Bonampak mysterious archeological site with the finest murals, representing scenes of war, sacrifices and celebrations.

Dinner in the camp. Sleeping in cabins.

Day 5: LACANJA - VILLAHERMOSA

Breakfast in camp, after that we drive to the Border Corozal where we will take a boat to go down the Usumacinta River as far as the archeological zone of Yaxchilan.

Visit the site and return on the same route. After lunch at the touristic center of ESCUDO Jaguar, driving to Villahermosa.

Suggestions:

Bring repellent, proper cloths for walking, torch, boots or tennis, rain coat, sandals, swimming suit, cap and sun protection

Remember that during the tour there is not any farmacy or bank.
